You probably don’t wake up in the morning and immediately go, “Wow, metal casting is life.” But this ancient art is arguably the earliest and most influential industrial process in history. And while we’ve come a long way from the copper frog in Mesopotamia, metal castings are still used in modern times to make a ton of the metal objects upon which we rely in daily life (from car parts to washing machines).

And, just like magic, Hamilton trailers are there to help carry them.

Check it: This custom haul we designed for a leading supplier of solutions for the mining, construction and energy industries. Used to transport a variety of large, heavy castings to areas inaccessible by overhead crane, the trailer features full-width tubes to raise the load while easily securing it from below with fork tines or straps. Four tie-down rings along each side ensure the castings stay put in transit. And you can’t beat those gorgeous press-on poly wheels designed for easy rolling and durability under the heaviest of loads.

Just another day in the life of transporting vital materials to forge a better life for all mankind.
