Three-Year Product Warranty
Hamilton has a lot of confidence in the quality and endurance of its carts and trailers. We're so confident that we are proud to offer an industry-leading three year product warranty on our standard carts and trailers. This guarantees the original purchaser of select Hamilton products a three-year limited warranty from the date of the original invoice against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
This three-year warranty covers all Hamilton carts and trailers listed below:
- Trailers: Four Wheel Steer Trailers(2K, 5K, 10K),Fifth Wheel Steer Trailers(5K, 10K, 20K-40K),Caster Steer(2K Steel Deck, 2K Wood Deck, 4K Steel Deck, 4K Wood Deck), and Auto Steer.
- Application Carts: Cradle Carts(Steel Cradle and Sling Cradle),Order Picker Carts & Platforms (EM7100 and EM7200), and Rail/Coil Carts.
- Manual Carts: Platform Carts(except 6100 and 6800), Shelf Trucks, and Semi-Live Systems & Johnson Bars.
- Hand Carts
Those select carts and trailers covered under the warranty shown to be unserviceable due to defects in materials or workmanship within three years from the date of purchase will be repaired or replaced, at the option of the manufacturer, without charge for materials or labor (excludes the cost of freight to and from the Hamilton Caster manufacturing facility).
One-Year Warranty
All other standard Hamilton products that exhibit a defect in materials or workmanship within a period of one-year from the date of purchase will be repaired or replaced, at our option, free of charge. However, the defect must be promptly reported to the factory or selling dealer, and prior authorization must be obtained from the factory before returning or reworking the product. Warranty does not apply in cases of overload, misapplication, accident, abuse, normal wear-and-tear, damage in transit, or unusual operating conditions (such as temperature extremes) about which we are not consulted in advance. Hamilton products are not intended for human conveyances or amusement rides. In all cases, our liability shall be limited to the factory invoice cost of the product.

An extended warranty on custom orders can be granted on a case-by-case basis.
Exclusions
All warranties above exclude damage resulting from product misuse or abuse, improper installation, impairments from accidents, product modifications, product neglect, or acts of God. Damage incurred due to shipping and handling does not constitute a defect under these warranties. Warranties do not include costs of removal, installation, labor, inconvenience, or consequential damages.
Repair/Replacements Under Warranty
In the unlikely event that Hamilton’s warranted product should prove defective during the warranty period, the Original purchaser must contact Hamilton Caster Customer Support for a return material authorization (RMA) at 1-800-733-7655 or 513-863-3300. Products returned for repair/replacement must be securely packed to prevent damage and shipped charges pre-paid along with proof of purchase and the return material authorization number. Within a reasonable amount of time from its receipt of your product so shipped, Hamilton will ship to you, at its option, the repaired product or a new or reconditioned product of comparable or greater specified functionality. All repaired or replacement products shall be warranted for the remainder of the original product warranty.
e-Powered Products
Hamilton partners with DJ Products, Inc. for CartCaddy™, WagonCaddy™, and CartCaddyShorty™ e-Powered Products. The products listed below are not included in the Hamilton warranties listed above because they are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty provided by DJ Products, Inc.:

Hamilton Caster makes no other express or implied warranty with respect to the product other than the limited warranties set forth above. No Hamilton Caster & Mfg. Co. Dealer, Agent, or Employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to these warranties. Unless enforceable or unlawful under applicable law, Hamilton Caster disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, and fitness for a particular purpose, and the liability of Hamilton Caster & Mfg. Co. Any damages relating to any allegedly defective product shall, under any tort, contract, or other legal theory, be limited to the actual price paid for such product and shall in no event include incidental, consequential, special, or indirect damages of any kind even if Hamilton Caster & Mfg. Co. is aware of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
