A cart built to outsmart the elements

When you’re moving a fortune in titanium, your cart better be dressed for the weather. Good thing this custom cart we designed for an industrial equipment dealer and materials-handling specialist was built to play in the rain.

The job? Transport ultra-valuable titanium electrodes of various lengths and diameters between indoor and outdoor facilities without exposing them to the elements. Titanium might sound indestructible, but moisture is its nemesis. Rust and corrosion aren’t just costly—they’re catastrophic when you’re dealing with high-precision materials at this scale.

Enter our custom solution: a fleet of three purpose-built carts, each one tailored to accommodate different electrode specs. All feature a sleek, protective cover that shields the precious cargo from water, grime and anything else West Virginia weather might throw its way. And under that sharp exterior with a 25,000-pound payload? Press-on poly wheels that glide smoothly across factory floors without leaving a mark.

From concept to delivery, this project was all about precision and performance—the kind Hamilton builds into every custom solution we design.

No raincoat required.
